My brother is living with me and has been since I moved into this home. Recently I found out he has been doing drugs. I have two children and do not want someone making these choices living with my family. He also has shorted me for the last two months on rent. I need to file eviction and I am not sure how to handle that. Can I file a three day notice with accepting a partial payment? How long will it take before I can get this in front of a judge? Is there anything that I can do to speed it up with the fact that he is admitting to doing drugs? He says he does not do it in my home but I am not sure. I am a renter of this house and my landlord can not evict him without evicting my family due to the fact that my husband and myself are on the lease and not my brother.
