Back Porch covered by SC landlord tenant?

Hello! Im in a rental home. My landlord is refusing and ignoring my requests about my back porch decaying. I've entered multiple work order because the wood is decaying and starting to become weak. The wood now has a hole in it and theyre still unresponsive. My landlord is a large, remote management company with no office.

I have plenty of evidence of phone calls made (vms left) and of the work order trail. At this point, I'm considering sending them a notice to cure. I'm most concerned the porch will completely give out and they will try to blame us for this. Or try to charge us for this at move out.

If they did not adhere to the notice to cure, Would I be able to file a motion with the magistrate court for this? And would you say it's worth taking to the courts?

The first work order was entered 8/11/23.

Thank you in advance for your help!
