I need some legal help please...I had my daughter in 2009 she is now 5 years old and the biological father is NOT in her life. He is also NOT on the birth certificate and my daughter carries my last name not his. I am now married and my husband wants to adopt my daughter but we need to know if we have to have the biological fathers consent. Please help
