    I'm being told by my attorney that it gives my attorney the power to sign documents with my name, as "attorney of record".

    Hello. I'm trying to find out what /s/ on a signature line of a document means. I'm being told by my lawyer that it authorizes them to sign documents for me. I see two back-slashes and an S and my signature being added to documents that I have never seen and then filed without my knowledge.
