Tenant moved out in May. Lease does not terminate til Sept. 15. Tenant said they'd continue to pay rent. I asked if they'd be open to me trying to rent property early. They said yes. Last rent check I received was June 1.
I'd rather count my losses and move on. Can I re-rent the property and...
Do our expenses get calculated in...?
It just seems like the court should compare hourly wage to hourly wage...and not penalize me for working more hours to support the kids. I know, it is what it is...it's just a bummer that I put myself thru grad school after we split to do better & ex may...
I work 40 hours a week/12 months a year.
He works 30 hours a week/10 months a year.
If you compare our hourly wages we make similar $$, comparing yearly I make more.
Nothing is filed yet. I just want to know if I need to stress than many, many years after divorce and recently I accepted a...
Just got an email from tenant out of the blue:
"Just wanted to let you know we have vacated the property. We will continue to check on the house weekly until our lease is up.
If there's anything further you would like us to do, please let us know. In addition, we'll be having the power...

Because ex didn't count in his proposal the 3+ months the kids are off from school in a total year; vacations, summer, holidays and refuses to redo his math, I said I would commit to paying half of what he is asking for.

I'm hoping...
Yup, that's about what I figured out too.
I'm going to try to work with him a little longer on agreeing with me to change them for Fall 2010. Maybe I can do something (not sure what) that will make him more comfortable with the change this year.
If not, I'll have to file for a change in...
Talked to dad about it last nite.
He agrees the schools are better and said he'd give his 'blessing' in a year from Fall.
He wants the kids to have one more year at current school to help with transition.
I guess I don't see what good keeping kids at inferior school for one year will do...
