Hi,
I have been reading some posts in this forum and I was wondering exactly what the 5 year term meant? As I have listed in another post I had a DUI in Feb. 2002 then after pleading not guilty and going through the hearing process I was found guilty on 2 counts of the 3 counts (remarkably all pointing to the same conclusion "you drove intoxicated") on June 2002...
Will this charge affect my naturalization process if the 5 years term expire and during the 5 years I was of good moral, etc...
What I am confused about is this 5 years term. Does this mean every 5 years you get a new chance with Immigration and they would ignore them?
Thanks,
Yamaha
