In 2008 we entered into a remodel contract on our Home. This included additions on the back and side of the house. We bought the house in 2003 and had no problems with mold until Perfection Homes completed a remodel on the house. The first mold was discovered in 2009 shortly after Perfection completed the remodel and we moved back into the house. We just rediscovered mold in the crawlspace. City code requires crawl spaces be vented. The old part of the house was vented and the new part was built without vents and some of the old vents were removed as part of the remodel. Do we have a case for action against the builder? My wife has suffered terrible allergy problems for 5 years and is steroid dependent because of the allergy treatment.
