My ex and I was in a relationship on and off for 2 years and we both decided we wanted to have a baby well once i got pregnant he decided he no longer wanted to have a baby and begged me to get an abortion i refused to. Well i now have a beautiful 10 month old baby girl and he hasnt done not one thing for her and has done nothing but make threats to me and try to harm us! He has asked for me to just let him sign his rights over and at first i was like no i didnt have her alone im not going to do it alone but after 10 months of doing everything on my own i dont need nor want his help, all i want is him out are lifes for good so he cant harm us no more so i am agreeing to let him sign his rights over but im unsure of how to go about all this or where to start?

Signing away parental rights, isn't the same as signing away your rights to a goat, a cow, or a horse.
It isn't easy, and if you're receiving state assistance, it's often thwarted by the state.
That said, if he's threatening you and the child, you might want to consider reporting it to the police.
You should speak with an attorney or two in your county.
The initial consultation is often free of charge and further obligation.
It's a great way to educate yourself, before going further.

You cannot terminate his rights. That's really the bottom line.

Best get used to the reality that if he wants visitation, he'll get visitation.

He wants to terminate his rights!!! and im agreeing to let him do so! and I have contacted the police I have a few police reports on him and have tried to get a restraining order but he quit his job and that's the only address I had for him so he hasn't been served! he has warrants for his arrest and everything the only reason he wants to sign his rights over is so he don't have to pay child support and im not getting any help from the government im doing it all on my own! im just trying to do whats best for my daughter and him poping up once a month to beat me up and run off with are daughter that don't even know him aint whats best for her! and iv never denied him the right to see her I just told him when hes visiting he cant put his hands on me or flip out and that's to much to ask of him..iv suggested surpervised visitation as well and he would rather just sign her over!

and I know its not gonna be an easy process..or fast iv told him this but he seems to think we can just walk in the court house and sign a paper and be done with it like its not a big deal! I know its not that easy like you said she not an animal she a human being!

No, really. Your state does not allow a voluntary TPR outside of a stepparent adoption. It doesn't matter what either of you want.

Well, you're wasting your time arguing with us. We simply tell you things that apply in similar situations. Ultimately, a court decides what can and can't happen. I'll tell you how low the parenting bar is these days, lets say mommy or daddy sexually molests baby. Or, say mommy or daddy lets their drug dealer have sex with their 3 month old baby for a few crack rocks. Mommy or daddy probably wouldn't lose their right to visit baby, and they'd likely still be required to pay support. Even if mommy or daddy were to magically have their right to custody and/or visitation terminated, they'd still be on the hook to keep those support payments flowing.

Yeah, most things suck these days. Rights? We've lost most of our rights anyway. We get anally probed to sit on an airplane. Which right is that, the 69th amendment? We ain't got no rights, except to STFU and do what the BIGSHOTS tell us to do, give them our pennies.
