Wrongly terminated?

I am a food sevice worker in a school district I have never been written up or had a verbal warning. We ended the school year on june 13th i believed i had a job in september until 8-13-07 when i recieved a call from my boss saying due to my excesive call ins they no longer had a job in my school for me but would offer me jobs at other schools in other cities I declined and he said sorry then we have nothing for you. I have to add that two call ins were for serious illness ( streep and pnuemonia) and two were for a back injury i recieved at work ( i still to this day have not been released to full work I am restricted to the register no lifting) I need to know if they can do this please help!! I have been there 3 years and really loved my job!!
 
You were not fired. You refused a transfer. The employer did nothing illegal.
