Maybe the statute of limitations is up I don't know and this involves not only illegal eviction (my rent was paid) charging me for damages that were not there and she can't prove otherwise and personal injury from assault while homeless b/c she changed the locks while the rent was paid leaving me on the street. I had moved my belongings out in Sept 2009, but continued to pay rent. Due to unfortunate events I asked to return to the apartment until the end of the lease Nov 30). She told me I could not and changed the locks. I am disabled and she cashed the HUD check and my portion for October when I asked to stay in my apartment. I was traumatized from this homeless experience including being raped. Boston police arrested the man. That is why it has taken me so long to even consider a civil suit. Is there anything I can do now?

Visit a couple lawyers in your vicinity and ask your questions.
Most lawyers will meet with you for free during the initial consultation.
    I wish well.
