Alcohol & Drugs: MIP, MIC, Intoxication Wrong date (year) on ticket for MIP

My two children, 20 (three days before 21st birthday), and 16, were at a campground and got MIP's. 01/03/08 was the date they put on the tickets. There is no specific date set for court, just says you must appear within 14 days Is there a way around this since the date is wrong?

That's the date for the arraignment, at which time they should plead not guilty. If they don't show up a warrant will be issued for their arrest.
