I want to start a website to post my own review on sports products. The review will be accompanied by products' photos. Do I need any form of permission from the product manufacturer?

Not as long as you use a picture they put in the public domain. Are you planning to make money at this?

Thanks for the speedy reply. Appreciate it. What if im using both pictures that i took on my own and pictures that they put in a public domain? The reviews itself do not make any profit , free for all to read. In the future I might generate revenue from ads placed in my website.Im at lost here.
