My previous boss is a real estate broker who did not pay my commission. I sue and I won. I have a judgement against him. I found out he has real estate deal as seller' s broker in escrow and would be paid commission once the house will be sold. I submit a write of execution to escrow on last Friday because the deal was supposed to record on Monday. The escrow did not collect the money because they said it was valid only 24 hours and on Friday the deal was not closed even though there were some money in escrow so they paid him his commission on Monday and did not get me anything.

Is this true that my write of execution and notice to levy was valid only 24 hours?

Ah, getting a judgment is far easier than levying or executing one, isn't it?

Why not check with the court or sheriff?

You may not have executed your writ correctly.

Or, your boss has friends protecting his arse and ASSets!

You can hire a firm or a lawyer to properly execute your judgment.

They usually take 25-33% of what they collect as their fee.

They collect nothing, you owe nothing.

Sometimes 2/3's of a loaf is better than no loaf!
