A few States have laws that require employers to provide a private place (other than the restroom) for nursing mothers to express milk. I don't know if CA is one of those States but if you contact CA's department of labor, I'm sure they can tell you. I wouldn't be surprised if California is one of those States.
I can tell you that NO State requires employers to allow employees bring members of the public into the workplace (which includes employees' children), provide day care, or health insurance (except for Hawaii.)
