I was a co-respondent in a lawsuit that was arbitrated in our favor. The award was written such that the plaintiffs owed us for attorney fees. While we wait for the money (that may never come), the lawyer's bill sits unpaid. I'm overwhelmed. Now it will cost us more money to go after the plaintiffs (presupposing we even knew how to do that). Plus, I don't have any way of paying the lawyer's bill. No- a part time job is not an option, I am already working part-time to pay off medical bills. Ideas anyone?

Maybe you could set up soem sort of payment plan with your attorney and hope you get your money from the lawsuit soon. What was the lawsuit for?

Ah, yes, one prevails in a lawsuit and never takes a dime.

That is why I advise people to try and settle.

Yours is even worse.

You won an arbitration.

Now you have to take them back to court to try and get them to pay up.

You see, only a judge has the power of injunctive relief.

I suggest you "sic" your attorneys on the deadbeats.

You're right, YOU can't do it!!!
