My boyfriend quit his job without giving a notice and the manager is not giving his final paycheck. The manager says in the job application he have to give a 15 day notice otherwise his check is withheld. I want to know if the manager is allow to do this? Im not sure what i can do.

You cannot do anything, and your boyfriend's options are limited, but not non-existent.
Florida is one of the very few states that has no law mandating when final checks are to be released. Additionally, FL has no state DOL.
However, Federal law does not allow him to withhold the paycheck entirely.
Your boyfriend can do one of two things. He can either file a claim with the US DOL (in which case his award will be limited to Federal minimum wage plus overtime) or he can file a suit in small claims court.
