Will they be extradited back to the usa

I know someone who is a uk citizen and they moved here with a green card (permanent resident) years ago, a warrant was just put out for their arrest for statutory rape in the usa, they are currently in England, if they are ever arrested in england, would they know if there was a warrant out for their arrest in america? Would they extradite him? Also if he applies for a job in the uk, will the warrant show up?

I believe (but am not certain) that UK authorities have access to criminal records but not necessarily to criminal charges.

The UK would not extradite the accused as a matter of course. The US would need to request his extradition. Many countries will not extradite their own citizens to other countries but will only return a country's own accused criminals to it. I'm not sure what the arrangement between the US and UK is.

The UK has an extradition treaty with the US, and will extradite him upon request.
