Personal Bankruptcy Will Bankruptcy discharge a defaulted SBA Loan?

My jurisdiction is: NY, St Lawrence County

Would an SBA Disaster home loan, which is attached to our florida home thats being foreclosed on by the primary mortgage holder, be discharged like other debts if I file bankruptcy here in NY where I am now a resident?

That is a real good question, any government loans, child support, taxes etc... never get discharged in a bankruptcy-- so I doubt it-- they will more then likely get what they can ( if any) from the house then they will start to put holds on your bank accounts and your taxes-- you need to talk to your bankruptcy attorney and make sure
