My son was just picked up for his 4th MIP. He is 20 years old and will be 21 in January. His last one landed him in jail for probation violation for 11 days. The judge said the next time will be 90 days. If he was in treatment before the court date, would he have to appear in court? go to jail anyway? Would a lawyer help at all? Does he have any hope at all?

Why does he keep doing it? Yes he will absolutely need a lawyer, he will be appointed a public defender anyways. Seems like some jail time will do him some good.
