widowed and confused

I live in Alabama
hello let me start by saying that me and my husband were seperated but not divorced. Well he was killed recently in a wreck. A lawyer contacted me so I spoke with them. Now the lawyer called me back saying that someone had signed my name on some divorce papers. I didn't do this. What do I do now? How do I find out who did? Am I legally divorced being as how someone forged my name? Any help would be greatly appreciated

I suggest that you call the attorney and get more information. If you are not divorced you are entitled to a portion of his estate and there may also be a claim from the wreck.
