In 2007 I wrote a master's thesis based on interviews with 20 people. The interviews were printed verbatim with the people's names. These people signed consent forms at the time. Now I would like to publish this thesis as a book. Do I have to get them to sign different consent forms? Do I have to get their permission in any way? Also, I plan to add a few more interviews. Do I need consent forms or does the fact that I explain verbally at the beginning of the interview that it will be used in a book constitute implied consent? If I do need a consent form, is there a template available? Thank you.
