What rights do I have while being served?

I would just like to know any and everything I should know about being served by my mother and her lawyers. What are my rights, what the procedure should be, etc. Comments, links, anything would help. Believe me, she is doing me a favor and I would like to comply and be out of here a.s.a.p, I would just like to know what should and should not happen so I can recognize the fair and legal process. Thank you in advance.
