My case of Article 78 was dismissed as untimely be Kings Supreme Court, with notice: "Petitioner's claim for damages severed with leave to renew in a plenary action". My motion to appeal was denied. On the site has written MOTION DECIDED-OPEN APPEARANCE. What does it means?
    Thank you

I asked her. She does not know or does not want to speak.

I have no idea what motion(s) was(were) filed, without knowing the underlying motion, it’s useless to speculate any further.

This NY lawyer offers some insight on NY state motions and pleadings:

Changing Orders - Appeals, Modifications, Renew, Reargue , Resettle
