What is the age of consent to move out as a male in Missouri?

I'm going to turn 17 next week and I'm wondering if I can legally move out as long as I go somewhere that I'm safe and still going to school, and not be returned home and without being emancipated?

A quirk in the way the Missouri law is written is that the police are often reluctant to bring home a 17 year old if they are in a safe place. However, that is by no means a guarantee that they won't. Nor does it mean that your parents can't drag you home themselves or that the people you stay with cannot face certain legal charges. When you turn 18, you can definitely live where you wish.

You can move out any time with your parents consent, but they remain responsible for you and would be foolish to allow it.
