what is my legal rights..

I had someone living with me that has been moved out for 5 months, they left behind some items mainly furniture , but have made no effort to come retrieve the items after repeated attempts to have them get them. Do I have the right to get rid of them? I have stored the items long enough and made attempts to have them to come retrieve the items. They are just taking up needed space. What do I do?

Check with an Atorney on what is considered abandonment and what your unamed states say you can do

Contact Police or an Attorney (later is best) to find out how long you legally have to keep property and what means you are required to use to get them to pick it up. You can also sue them for storage in small claims
