What happens if prior DUIs are in other states?

So I'm from Nebraska...which means Husker fan. The WR coach got a 3rd DUI yesterday. But the other two weren't in Nebraska. Ppl are debating on how those legally apply to this one.

As far as I read if you get three under Nebraska law you look at max one year i think. Min 90 days. Probation min 30 and interlocking device. Fines. But is that only if you get all three in Nebraska?

I think the guy should be fired or at least suspended. Getting caught once. Ok. Three or more times? DUI? Cmon.

Depends on a variety of factors. Read the following and you'll see why it's difficult to even begin researching the issue:

Do DUIs Carry Over Into Different States?

The school can certainly choose to do that. But if he's a winning coach and had an ironclad contract, likely not.
