Hi, currently I've been working on a assignment titled Private Property vs Academic Freedom. I have a few question that require help from you all.......the question is:

1) What constitutes ethical action if laws don't protect all of the affected groups in a society equally?

2) Do we have a responsibility to challenge laws you believe are unfair?

My answers would be:

1) File a federal lawsuit complaining of unequal protection under the law.

2) I would think that each of us should undertake the responsibility to do what we can to promote fair and equal protection under the law.

All of this is theoretical and in a vacuum in the absence of a specific situation. I'm not sure how private property is antagonistic to academic freedom and you can expound on this thought.
