I have a website that is a game website. It is called a text-based game, HTML game, or MMORPG (Mass Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game). People register for an account, and then by using html forms and clicking links, they build an empire and attack other users.
Some people in the forums have been talking about recreating this game into a 3D game with high-end graphics. I obviously don't want this to happen.
How do I protect my website in name, and in idea so that people cannot duplicate it and get away with it? I need it to be so that anyone who makes a game like mine can be held accountable for stealing my idea. Also, I need to protect the name of the game so that it cannot be used.
