While I was pregnant the father of my son got stoned, drunk, a did not have a job. I worked while I was pregnant to keep our apartment and after my C-section could no longer work and we were evicted. He's had three mental evaluations due to the fact that he's tried to kill himself during his time with his son. He's been aressted for possesion charges, and is so abusive and out of control we've had to call the police many times for saftey reasons. He want to take our son to the guys house he's living with now who went to jail for having sex with a minor. I want to get sole custody of my son for his and my saftey. I don't want him to grow up watching his father go down the drain. Is there any hope that I can obtain full and sole custody without a lawyer. I would love to hire one but don't have the means to do so. Any advice on how I can win would help.
