Why would a judge order a visitation schedule that requires a child with an IQ of 82, who struggles in all her classes, to leave school 45 minutes early every Friday to travel 3 hours away to her dad's for the weekend, when in 3 1/2 years her dad only bothered to show up here for visits 15 times tops, and who HAD to move away to get a job because he couldn't get a job here because of his reputation as a drug dealing lying thief, and who doesn't pay his child support? And why does the mother who has picked up the pieces for the kid over and over again be required to LOSE her good paying hospital job as a result of being unable to work the noon to 8 shift to take the kid where she doesn't want to go anyway? Why does the judge not interview her. She has plenty of reasons to not want to be with her dad, reasons that only she can tell the judge or it is HEARSAY. What is wrong with America, anyway. What kind of country treats children like property?
