Hello I was in the Army in 1988 on Fort Eustis VA during that time I received two tickets for no insurance and now in 2010 the California DMV is stating that they cannot renew my driver license due to the fact I have these tickets from 22 years ago I spoke to an agent at the VA dmv and I was told to request a administrative hearing to clear the matter up. I called bak to the VA DMV only to be told that the administrative hearing would take up to a year to process. please is there any help I can get.

The answer to your problem is with the VA DMV or courts. Until they report to the CA DMV that the matter is cleared up then CA will not reissue your license.
The sooner your pony up some cash the sooner they will lift that hold.

Yep, you can wait for the hearing or you can pay what you owe to the VA courts and or DMV. Once you pay then they will release you. Good luck.
