i have a misdemeanor citation for having a tail light out (i didn't know) and not having proof of insurance in my car (but i truely do have insurance). i immediately got the light fixed and now always keep my proof of insurance in the car. i have a court date set for later this month. i know these are minor offenses, if anything, but am i facing any fines or anything? if i can show the court my fixed light and proof of insurance, then still, am i facing any fines?
