MIP for first offense is $100 fine + court cost+ all of the probation supervisions + mandatory alcohol abuse treatment programs + community services = $350 up to $1200
Retail fraud 3rd (under $200 stolen) is a misdemeanor upto 93 days and/or $500 fine or 3 times of the mechandise's value . In addition to criminal penalties a shoflifter may also be subject to civil penalties demanded by the store . The penalties include the full retail price of unrecovered property or recovered property that is not salable condition and civil damages of 10 times the retail price of the property but not less than $50 and not more than $200 .
