3 college students one being me had a verbal agreement with a landlord for us to sign the lease once he sent it to me over the weekend. He never emailed me the lease for us to sign over the weekend. I called him on tuesday(5/25/06) left him a message giving him my email adress incase he didnt have it and asking him to please get in touch with me because we had the money for him for the 26 like we agreed upon. I then recieved an email from him saying that he rented it to two girls when they gave him the money saterday. I dont understand how he could do this when we had a verbal agreement that we had the apartment and he would have the moeny wednesday april 26,2006 and a lease signed. What should we do we now have no apartment for next year and we are stuck. Our lease was from August 2006 to may 2007 for the school year please help us.
