HI we recieved a call back fromthe RCMP, they state we still have a civil matter on our hands and requested we contact a lawyer. I have a question, when a vechicle is sold for salvage after being repaired to running order by an insurance comapny, what is the salvage yards responsibility for the vechicle? The people that sold it for salvage were not in the proper rights to sell the vechicle as the lien did not come off the ASSET system uintil 2 yrs after being in the shop and a year after it was repaired. What rights do we have ? what do we do now? The rcmp sy we should sue for damages and the person that bought the vechicle is unaware they improperly baought it, if the salvage yard does not have it in the yard. ANy help on this would be appreciated...thanks
