A few days ago in Georgia, a friend of mine was backing out of his parking space and accidentally bumped into an unoccupied vehicle. He panicked and went back to his house. After arriving, he found out that there was no damage to his vehicle. He called me later and sounded like he was about to run out of air. He is a nervous wreck and fears that he may go to jail for doing what he did. I told him that since it was his first time and the fact that they were both pretty small misdemeanors, that the worst he could get was either probation or community service. He is still freaking out over this entire thing. Was I right in what I told him about the consequences that could happen to him or can something worse happen?
