Alcohol & Drugs: MIP, MIC, Intoxication underage possession of alcohol

hello, i heard through the grapevine that a friend of a friend is doing jail time for being caught in possession of alcohol. he is, obviously, underage. apparently he was caught once buying with an illegal id before, and this second time landed him in jail with a hefty bail amount. hes been there for a few weeks already.

is there anything i can do to help my friends get him out of there, besides paying the bail? how long will he be incarcerated for? and what does the law state regarding this situation anyway?

If he is "doing jail time" - already sentenced - then bail won't do anything. If he is being held pending trial, then there might be bail that can be applied.

Other than helping with bail or helping pay for an attorney, there's nothing much you CAN do.
