Trustee raided patient's estate

A trust in my stepmother's name was dissolved and my step mother's portion of one fifth was split between my two half-brother's leaving my sister and I with nothing even though our step mother's will left everything in her estate to the four of us. Now there will be nothing left in her estate. She is in a nursing home with Alzheimers. My brother, with power of attorney left one third for her remaining custodial care and split the rest with his brother. It was our father's desire and will that expected everything remaining after my step mother's death to be split four ways. We don't know if we have any recourse and we naturally never expected our brother would throw us under the bus

It appears your issue should be with the Trustee who may have violated the terms of the trust.
