At around 9:30 tonight a friend and I were driving around on some back roads looking for a place to stop and stargaze. We found a place that seemed suitable, and we stopped the car and sat outside for a while. We heard someone in the woods and we think they stopped and watched us for a while. If they got our license plate number, would the cops come for this? There were no posted signs saying "private property" and no one actually told us to leave. We left quickly, we were probably only there for maybe 10 minutes or so. Also, how long before I would I know if I was going to get charged?
