You are legally an adult in Texas.
You can live with anyone that allows to live in their home.
You'll have to ask the school district about their admission policies.
Some districts make reentry near the end of the school year difficult, especially for newly arrived ADULTS.
However, at age 18, you can simply get a GED in a week, if you apply yourself.
Or, you can enroll in one of the many APPROVED online schools in Texas.
Two of my granddaughters graduated from online high schools using APPROVED online K-12 sites.
It was tuition free, because it is supported through local tax collections.
Don't let one door slammed in your face waste time.
This is the 21st century and there are many options for people who wish to work for an education.
By the way, many of the online APPROVED sites will provide a student with a laptop (or other device) to complete their diploma.
Good luck, OP, I hope things go well for you.
Don't allow some "romance" to distract you.
Make sure you place yourself first, and get a GED or diplome; and then continue to college, tech, or trade school.
Without an education beyond high school, a skill, or a trade; your life will be financially disadvantaged forever.
