To all of those who are serving, have served, and to the families of those who gave their life serving our nation, thank you for stepping up to preserve our values and way of life.
What is Armed Forces Day?
Armed Forces Day is a joint celebration of all SIX branches of the U.S. military: the Army, the Navy, the Coast Guard, the Marine Corps, the Air Force, and the newest force; Space Force. The day honors all people currently serving in the U.S. armed forces.
Armed Forces Day is often marked with parades, fly-overs, marches, and other public events. Celebrations will no doubt look different this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
