I work in a non union office, I recently recieved a 1 year raise and whenever there is a mishap he threatens to take away my raise, and/or threatens to pay another employee out of my pay for mistakes. thanks, not impressed
This is primarily a US forum. Canadian employment law and US employment law are not the same and I don't believe we have any responders fluent in Canadian employment law.
In the US there is nothing illegal about taking away your raise as long as you are given notice ahead of time.
