I belong to a company with ethics and policies for the business and I have asked repeatedly for something in writing regarding why a certain clause was not breached versus why it was. They state it was not breached but will not give that to me in writing, only verbally by phone. What are my legal rights regarding this matter. The fact they do not want to put it in writing makes me wonder if they are worried I may have a case. They state they do have to supply the explanation in writing. Do I have any legal rights regarding this?

If you are asking whether the law requires that they put their explanation to you in writing, the answer is no, it does not.
