The dealership forgot to include my down payment in the contract-does this void the contract?

I just got a new Ram 1500. A day after I got the truck, the finance guy at the dealership called me stating he forgot to include my down payment in the loan. I paid with a debit card, so he offered to (1) re-write the loan or (2) give me the money back. Does this mistake void the contract? Or does it make it voidable?

No.

Do you already have buyer's remorse and are you looking for a way out.

Not gonna happen.

Rewriting the loan contract should reduce your payments when the down payment is computed.

You might as well go do it because "give you your money back" may involve charges for the use of the vehicle so you might not get all of it back.
