Tax deed purchase, ownership and liability

This question is regarding ownership and liability in a county tax deed purchase, Alameda County, California.

Two original parcels through which county line was passing(between Alameda and Contra Costa) were subdivided and recorded as separate parcels in both counties.

There is deed of trust for Alameda parcel recorded on both counties which mentions the contra costa side of parcel as part of the parcel.

If I purchased the tax deed for the Alameda side, as Contra costa side of the parcel is part of the deed of trust, would I be encumbered to the deed of trust?

Without reading the deed, no one can say for sure.
I suggest you consult a real estate attorney near you.
Before you sink thousands of dollars into something that might not be what you wish it to be.
