We received a letter a week and 1/2 ago stating that our registration had been suspended because we did not send back proff of insurance to the Sec of State (Illinois). However in the letter it states that they got the letters back because we no longer live at the address they had listed. So they are aware that we never got the notices, but they suspended us anyway saying that legally we needed to change our address within 10 days of moving. Friday night my husband got pulled over and ticketed for driving on a suspended registration and for not having proff of insurance (which I am sure didn't help the situation :blush). We DO have insurance, and have proof of insurance. We sent this to springfield to have suspension lifted. What can we do about the tickets. Does he have to go to the court date, or can we just take proof down to the court house at any time, and are we going to have to pay the fee on the ticket?!?

Any help would be SO GRATELY appreciated!

Thank you,
Amanda French

Call the phone number on the tickets and see if you can just take proof of Insurance etc.. to them. or call the court house in the county the ticket was issued in
