Suspended Liscense

I got pulled over driving in GA on a suspended liscense from my prior residence in MS that I wasn't aware of. I paid my fines in lieu of going to court and applied to a GA liscense. Today I recieved a letter in the mail stating that due to GA Law Section 40-5-121 my liscense is being suspended for the next six months!! I was never told of this. What actions can I now take?? I have to drive to make a living yet I do not want to be pulled over again. What can I do?

I'm not sure I understand -- are you saying that you were unaware that your license was suspended? They do send notices and if you want to investigate a way to deal with the problem you need to explain why you didn't receive the notices.
