Suicidal kid trying to get a restraining order

I have a problem for my friend, V. V fell in love with S, but S just used her to get to A, who he is in love with. S has a history of mental illness and recently atempted suicide, but is persuing a restraining order against V. S has a history of showing up wherever V happens to be and claims that she is "threatening him with violence." S has made threats numerous times to V to commit suicide because of her suposed actions. My questions is: How will this go over in a courtroom? More importantly, will the fact that S attempted suicide recently effect the outcome?

I will sincerily apreciate any help given.

Nobody can predict how this will turn out. S might be able to obtain the restraining order if a threat can be articulated.
