Sued By Debt Collector

I Am Being Sued In Court By A Law Firm ( Debt Collectors ) Who Are Suing For The Original Creditor, My Problem Is I Have Called These People And Told Them To Verify The Amount, Which Is Incorrect, I Have Statements Were I Made Payments To This Account. I Ask Them For This Information Over A Month Ago!! And They Said The Original Creditor Would Send Them The Information And They Would Send It To Me. I Have Called Them And They Still Do Not Have The Information And My Court Date Is Next Week! I Am Trying To Work Out A Payment With Them But They Will Not Tell Me The Correct Amount Owed! What Do I Do!!

When you go to court, bring your documentation on what you paid on this debt.

They'll bring what they think you owe.

You'll argue that what you paid should be deducted from what they think you owe.

get all your records together and go to court, all parties concerned will have to put their cards on the table at that point and you can find out if your records match theirs
