My wages are attached for supposed overpaid child support. I never received the court notification to fight this and I was ruled against. The order is from 2001. I just went on medical disability after receiving the judgment. I never contested the order because my son had called his father and asked him to drop it. We thought he did because my disability checks were never attached. 2 years ago when I went back to work, the division of child support attached my wages and I have been paying ever since. I have never fought this due to my illness which I still have, however, am finally getting better and now have the will to fight. I don't feel that the order was correct based on a previous mistake made in one of the previous orders that was first in my ex's favor and when I contested it, it was corrected therefore that is what my ex was basing his dispute on. Do I have any chance of fighting this now or am I out of luck. I appreciate your guidance.
